This is probably one of the most complex knitting projects that I have tackled to date. It took about 5 skeins of Kidsilk Haze and an incredible amount of patience. I also consider it one of my biggest victories because not only was it technically complex, I really like to wear it as well. It's definitely the sort of sweater that gets noticed.

The pattern produces nice results, but there are some errors or not-quite right things to be aware of:

  • You should do three needle bindoffs on the shoulders. This means not binding off the last stitches on the shoulders of the front pieces and the back as instructed.
  • The picot edging instructions might make sense to someone else, but I was unable to make them make a nice edging. I recommend going to Nancie Wiseman's book on finishng for a nicer picot
