This project comes from Donna Druchunas' The Knitted Rug. I decided to do a different edging than the suggested applied I-cord edging and finished off the rug with 6 rounds of single crochet and a final round of crab stitch.

The solid colors in the rug are the Cascscade 220, the variagated colors are the Mountain Colors 4/8s wool. All are held double throughout the knitting and finishing process. It's an excellent way to use up small pieces of worsted weight wool that are lingering in your stash

The final rug is not very large -- not even a yard in diameter, making it nice rug for under an accent table or beside a bed or a crib on a wood floor.
