This is a wonderful project -- you can try out your skills at crochet, short rows and casting on in non-standard places. The body of the sweater is knit in stockinette and is worked from side to side while the sleeves are worked from top to bottom. Crochet edging helps this sweater hold its shape.

This is a very fitted sweater. There isn't any allowance in the sizing, so be honest with yourself about your true size or you will likely be disappointed. Yardage estimates are good, so you probably won't need to order extra beyond the recommendations unless you plan to modify the pattern substantially.
