This
sweater is a wide-striped, fitted sweater with inset bell sleeves. I was
disappointed with the pattern because I feel that it was unnecessarily "dumbed-down",
even though it was otherwise well-written and easy to follow. The instructions
do not call for the collar to be knitted in the round. The increases and
decreases would be better made a few stitches in from the edges.
The yarn had a bit of an odd smell after damp blocking, but it is not really an unpleasant smell. The yarn is soft and nice to wear, but doesn't really flow over your fingers while knitting as well as could be hoped. |
