Karabella
Zodiac is a fabulous 100% mercerized cotton yarn. As cotton's go, it's wonderful
to work with and knits up easily. The pattern, however, leaves a little
to be desired. I didn't enjoy seaming up purl side stitches and I had to
modify the back to be ribbed all the way across in order to make it fit
without sagging too much in the back.
That said, I love the front. The cable is beautiful and the halter shaping itself is well thought out. I love the way, too, that the cables wrap around the neck line. If I were to do this pattern again, however, I would probably try to subtract about an inchfrom the length. It's a little too long, and too much of it falls over my hips, which I think contributes to a little of the sagging in the back, |
