Based on the Anne Norling Basic Socks pattern, these are about the most boring socks in the whole world -- navy blue socks. I cast on 64 stitches, knit in K2/P2 rib for 9 inches (hard to tell in this picture), made a gussetted heel flap and then knitted in straight stockinette down to the toe.
