The pattern for this top is a slightly modified version of the Simple and Sleeveless Top from Sally Melville's The Purl Stitch. In order to work with the Giotto at the guage I was knitting it to, I had to adjust all the stitch counts and shaping.

In my hands, my Giotto swatch did not loosen with mild washing in water and a little Woolite. It did bleed a little color, however. But rinsed clear in fresh water. In order to hide any shading differences between skeins of Giotto, I alternated skeins every two rows. At my gauge (4 stitches/inch) it took me just under three skeins to complete the smallest size for this top.

This is a nice, simple project and it comes together quickly. I'll definitely be using it again in the future.
