This hat was simple to knit up! It's based on a K2P2 rib pattern that gets shifted every 4 rows. The Austermann Candy Colors yarn feels like polar fleece when knitted up and is very soft to the touch. However, it is not very elastic and it is very easy to pierce and pull stiches back through where they shouldn't be. Because it isn't very elastic, I made the hat a little bigger than I would have if I were using wool. Came out perfect for me because I wanted a looser hat that wouldn't be impossible to wear over barrettes and scrunchies.

This was a very fun, quick project and the pattern was very easy to follow!
