This patern includes all the instructions you need to create the Whiskers and Paw Prints Socks. The pattern comes with two sizes. A woman's medium sized sock with an 8" diameter and a women's large sized sock with an 9" diameter. It also includes general suggestions for upsizing or downsizing the socks beyond the provided sizes. All patterned stitches for the sock are completely charted

This pattern should be considered an intermdiate level sock pattern. In addition to combining a stranded pattern with a simple lace pattern, these socks feature a picot cuff, a short row heel with the whisker design carried through on them and special design elements on the top and bottom of the toe. The left and right socks are mirror images of each other so as to provide symmetry at the heels.

In honor of my aunt, for whom the socks were designed, and who has spent much of her life involved in animal rescue efforts, $1 from each pattern sold will be donated to the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago. The ACS does excellent work providing low cost animal health care and adoptions for those in need and they work hard to find good stable homes for dogs and cats in the Chicago metropolitan area. Many of my own fur people have been ACS alumni.
