Audrey is Done!

I finished her yesterday evening.

Thanks for all your neckdand sewing tips -- I followed your advice and am very happy with the way it turned out.

I used slightly less than 6.5 balls of Calmer for the 36" size. I did 19 pattern repeats for the neckband and I think that worked out just right.

Now my only problem is that we are in the middle of a heatwave here in Washington DC. I have a feeling that poor Audrey will have to wait until the autumn before she gets to have an outing!

I just finished sewing mine together last night, and I have the same problem. Poor Audrey will have to be stored away until the cooler breezes come back to town. And yet, and yet, oddly, I wanna knit another one!

Ooh, lovely. Very flattering, perfect fit! I like it that your sleeves and bodice are not so long, and the neckband is jussssssssst perfect.

Congratulations Wendy! It looks great. I cannot believe you knitted it so fast!
I am doing some finishing and the neckband, hope to complete all in the next days. And I don't worry about the weather, I live in Germany and we seldom have a real long summer.

Am I correctly remembering that you were thinking of knitting a second one? There's still time -- and you can never have too many great fall sweaters ;-)
