Audrey needs lace.

I completed knitting the lace, and boy, am I glad that part's done.
I just wanted advice on how to seam it in neatly and was wondering if you Audrey graduates could give some pointers.

Felica, I can't really find anything on the overcast seam to figure out how it's done.

Any tips would be great.

Thanks!

Hey Kate! I found this page that has a drawing of overcast stitches: http://www.fiber-images.com/Free_Things/Reference_Charts/handsewing_stitches.htm

I used overcast stitches because it made sense to me with my sewing background, but I don't think it's a seaming technique that people use for knitted pieces. Did you check Becky's site? She has a photo of her seaming the neckline (http://www.skinnyrabbit.com/projects/spring2004_audrey.php)...

I was able to seam in the neck tonight! I just need to finish weaving in the loose ends.

Thanks!
