Elle est finie!

Thanks to everyone for your help with this project. I have been knitting for a long time, but this was in many ways the hardest sweater I've ever knit. I certainly learned a lot!

I, too, knit the Small and was extremely nervous when this skinny little body came off the needles, however, she fits fine. I did the side decreases a la Becky rather than the vertical darts, plus added short rows an inch and a half below the armholes in the front for some "bust ease." I shortened the sleeves by about an inch but now I'm a bit sorry because they are somewhere between bracelet and 3/4 length. C'est la vie.

Add Florida to the map, Theresa! And thanks again.

Martha! Your Audrey is gorgeous (nice photo)! How many repeats did you do in the lace? It looks perfect!

Thank you very much, Felicia. There are 18 repeats. I placed 3 between each of the shoulder seems and 6 across the front and the back.

It really helped to know how many repeats everyone else did and see how they looked. It seems like Rowan should have given some guidance on that one! It would have been really frustrating without this group.

You sweater looks great. I, also, was curious to hear from those who have a)washed their Audrey and b)worn it a bit. I wore mine for a long day at Stitches East and noticed that by the end of the day the neckband began to sag a bit. Now, that could have been from carrying packages and my kntting bag but I fear the sweater was growing throughout the day. Anyone else experience this.

Also, it was fun wearing the sweater there as more than a few folks noticed it and called it by name! In fact two women came up and asked "Is that Audrey?" and then went on to have a long discussion about Audrey, Rowan, Calmer etc. They didn't have the discussion with me and I just stood there and finally said,"Well if you like it, thank you!". Very funny.
