Out-of-town knitting

Two trips out of town later.... and I have finished all of the pieces for Audrey! I knit the front of the sweater while in Chicago, and the second sleeve in DC. Now I have to seam her, knit the neckband, and sew it on. (Not inconsiderable tasks, I know!) I have been doing a lot of KIP-ing on the second half of this sweater; Audrey has now been knit in both Houston airports, on the Chicago El, the DC metro, and in various coffee shops in both cities. Here's hoping I will have a finished Audrey photo before too long...

Well done! I'm sorry to say I never saw you knitting on the D.C. Metro, but then I don't spend all my time riding it. ;-) I hope your lace band goes quickly -- seaming Audrey is pretty easy, except for putting the band on.

Thanks, Andrea! Actually knitting on the Metro (and the El) is not that easy - it slowed me down quite a bit. And made me a little nauseous. But I liked getting surreptitious looks from people checking out the knitting... :)

Yeah! We can have a meeting of the Audreys!

That would be great, Shelby! Especially now that our lovely Houston weather is actually appropriate for wearing Audrey, at last. A photo shoot will be in order, I think...
