Halter Neckline
Slow night tonight. Not such great day at work and kind of a blue evening. I probably should have picked up my knitting sooner than I did, because it did make me feel better to accomplish something. I knit the 2 remaining inches and then Kitchenered the ends together. Pretty neat. Something else I'll have to put in my knitting play book for the future. I've Kitchenered sock toes, but never worked with it in any other kind of garment. The cotton isn't very forgiving though. I ripped it out a couple of times before I got something that I liked.
Pretty spiffy! Came out better than I thought it would. The pattern has you slip stitches on all the edges once you get to the neckline and it definitely helps make for a smoother edge.
Off to the blocking board I go!

That looks amazing! I love it.
Wow, that was fast. The back should go even faster. You realize, don't you, that when you model the finished product you are going to have to do that hair flip that the model is doing?
I agree with michelle...that WAS fast. And yes, the hair flip is a definite.
Ohlalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! That is amazing and the color you chose is gorgeous. That is one halter that definitely goes on my wishlist of things I want to knit! Would you mind pointing me in the direction of an online supplier for that pattern? I'd really appreciate it :-)
WOW! It looks great! I can't wait to see it on. Becky, I got my Karabella pattern through www.schoolproducts.com, but had to call them for it. Others may have better resources.
I love the way the cable divides for the neck.~Once you set your mind to it you really knitted it up quickly - hope the wrists are o.k.
Also hope that work gets better :0]
I also got my yarn and the pattern from School Products. You have to call them, but they are very helpful and friendly and good at describing the colors. When I bought the yarn, the pattern came along for free. The pattern is Karabella #KK201 (it's the first one in the "Zodiac Solid" section of the patterns section of Karabella's website http://www.karabellayarns.com).
that is the most delicious looking summer top I have seen so far. I swore I wouldn't start another thing but...........................
