Zodiac Halter Show and Tell
Well, here's the moment of truth -- the unveiling of the Zodiac Halter Top on my frame. Here are the "serious" shots, meant to show how the fit and finish came out. Please excuse my funky looking skin and hair. It's been a warm day and I've spent most of it scratching my head in front of a computer.
I think it's pretty clear from the back and the side shot that there is a little rippling action that's not terribly desirable. I'm going to darn all the ends in and dump this baby in the wash to see if I can't get things to tighten up a little bit.
It is comfortable to wear -- nothing feels too exposed and the Zodiac is pretty smooth against the skin.
Of course, this whole photo shoot wouldn't be complete with out a few hair swinging shots, so here you go....Every knitter should have a photographer this great!
So what's next? I spent some time working on Charlotte tonight -- only two more bands to go! I really should finish Charlotte and Pebbles before starting on anything else. However, I've got these size 8 AddiTurbos free now and a couple of fall sweaters that want to go on them. And that lace scarf from Blackberry Ridge... hmmm...

I love the action shots! Nice job on the halter, Theresa. I see you did the ribbing all the way across the back? I may save this one for next summer. Must feel great to have finished another project. WooHoo!
Fab photos !
I think it looks great, but know you're looking for the ultimate fit.
Maybe if you shorten the halter neck it will bring the garment up enough on the back & sides ...maybe not.The fit on the front is good.Washing should tighten it up - have you washed your swatch to see what happens ? Tried bunging it in the dryer ?

Apologies for the double hit - got disconnected half way through posting !
What a beautiful creation you have wrought oh Goddess of Crafty Craft!!!
I think it is suberb and the color is wonderful on you!
Kudos for the rolling filmstrip - WOW!
Great looking top! Loved the photos too.
it turned out great - but fitwise -- do you feel it is still a little big? hard to tell from the pics, but when you talk about "rippling" maybe it feels that way? making me wonder whether i should make a smaller size than normal? not that i will get to it anytime soon!!! thx for the invites for thursday - this week i am actually working late so can't do it -- but will it be happening every thursday? if so, i will be there next week! if not, next month?
Looks great! I love the hair swinging shots. :-) I can understand your issues with the back, but probably wouldn't have noticed them if you didn't point them out. Hopefully some of that will come out in the wash.
Love the swinging hair shots! You could be a European sweater model now.
Chuckle.. you all would have laughed to see me spinning in circles and swinging my head trying to get these shots. Certainly my photographer had a hard time keeping his camera steady.
As to modeling... I think I'll hold onto my day job for a little while longer ;-)
It looks great! (Love those hair-tossing shots. We at skinnyrabbit.com live for action shots :-))
