I cannot believe it. With the huge number of pro-Kerry voices I've heard over the past few months, how does this happen?
*sigh*
To my neighbour Americans, I'm sorry things turned out the way they did.
Yeah- it's like the election we had in Australia last month: I don't know anyone who voted for the guys we ended up with! I find it scary to think that I'm actually in a minority...

I'm sorry too. Your post on the 1st really touched me. The power of ideas is still bigger than military might.
Thank you for making me look that one up [and thanks to the one who gave away what you meant. ;)] ... So true.

Theresa, this moved me to tears. I feel so lost in my own country right now. Your 11/1 post said so much truth, and yet more than half of the electorate disagrees with it. I'm crushed.

As a teacher with a degree in Biology, I cringe every time I hear that man speak. The final straw for me was when he went to Yale (where he only got in because he was a legacy - the moron is learning disabled for God's sake!!!) and said to all the C and D students not to despair because they, too, could become president of the United States! Now that's disgusting!!! In most of the world, heads of state speak a minimum of 2 - 3 languages and graduated at the top of their class. Ours can't even speak English! Doesn't the rest of the country get it? I'm not bashing anyone. We all have the right to our opinions. But W has already done more damage than most Americans realize, and now we have 4 more years to look forward to. I'm totally disgusted. The Twin Towers went down while we watched and my DH was in Manhattan. Did the rest of the country think they were watching a movie? IT WAS REAL, FOLKS!!! Wake up!

Two words: Never again...

more than a few words...who are these people? why? how can you not see he's a moron?
Darn, and that t-shirt I bought stating " John Kerry: Bringing complete sentences back to the White House" just won't have the same effect.
I can't stand to listen to W speak; it drives me nuts!!
bah....
Unless is a beautiful word. Carol Shields taught me that.
Aara
Betcha Dr. Seuss is spinning in his grave right now.
Sigh.
Will read the kids the Lorax tonight for sure.

I'm brokenhearted. And scared.
