Still on the Beach
First of all, the Beezle would like to apologize for not doing anything entertaining enough today to spare you from the picture you see below. He feels deeply guilty after reading all those nice comments that he couldn't come up with something that would prevent slow motion pink knitting from again coming to the fore. He is also surprised that so many of you have cats who like to do the same trick. He is now trying to figure out what he can do to top his first trick....

Hopefully over the weekend, I will finish the gosh darn sleeve and be able to move on to the equally exciting back piece!
In the meantime, just so you don't think that the Beeze is a one trick basket pony, I leave you with this shot where he also demonstrates his incredible portability. Believe it or not, he actually let John walk around with him a little bit like this.

I'm feeling your pain with slo-mo pink knitting. I'm right there with you!
I'm afraid if Lucy sees the photo of Beezle being carried in a basket she'll expect Ian to do that for her all weekend.
Cats are very interesting creatures. I have one that will let you carry her around in a plastic grocery bag. She will also let her "daddy" pick her up and carry her around on her back like a baby. I have another one that occasionally likes to play fetch with the sparkly pompom things. Cat number 3 drools all over me. No, it's not a medical condition. And the fourth cat thinks he's large and in charge, but if you pick him up and hold him he yowls like you're trying to hurt him. And yet if you're sitting on the couch barefooted, he will pet himself all over your feet. Or hand. Whatever he can reach.
Igor is not all at sure what to make of that picture.
Mem loves to cram himself into small places - like baskets, or shoeboxes. However it has its pitfalls, i.e., when after a nice satisfying scrunch into a very small worn shoebox...it explodes at the seams. Completely ruins his day.
That's so funny the picture of Beezle tucked in the small basket! You'll be off sleeve island before you know it. Keep plugging away!
