Liberty Continues

Just A Little More to Go
In the midst of all the Maryland excitement, I've still been working on Liberty. I'm not looking forward to weaving in all the ends, but I have nothing to complain about at all when it comes to the knitting. I love both the yarn and the project, even if I've had to do a little ripping to accomodate for the fact that I don't read instructions very well.
By the way, if you're interested in this pattern, but don't want to buy the whole book, Rowan is giving away the pattern for Liberty. You've got to give them some personal information before you get to download the file. I did it just to get an easy to print out copy of the pattern.

Wow, that is a lot of ends. Such pretty colours though, it will look fantastic when it is all finished. I am lucky enough to have a woman at our SnB that LOVES to weave in ends. All we have to do is bribe her with chocolate. Maybe you should send it to me and I will take it to her?? :)
That pattern looks great! I think the colors you use are turning out great together - I'll be watching your progress! And it's so exiting to follow your spinning adventure! I'm impressed by the results so far! Have a wonderful weekend!
Well, that is dang purdy. And bonus that Rowan is giving away a pattern for free that isn't a pillow. Thanks for the link.
That really looks smashing! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Looks great! I would never have thought to put those colors together, but they look so nice when the sweater is knit up!
Beautiful! I love it. It's one of the prettiest sweaters I've seen - I love the color combo. But I don't think I'll attempt it any time soon - those ends intimidate me!
I started lurking in your blog with your fabulous pink Phil Eponge sweater (my scary pink obsession) and now am in love with Liberty! My best friend, a non-knitter, sent me the website and free pattern you linked to because she had come across it somehow and I liked it. The weaving ends part is giving me nightmares but the stripe pattern is gorgeous. I love the colors a lot. I can't wait to see what yours looks like in case I want to add it to my very long to do list.
Beautiful! I'm with you, I hate to weave ends. I wonder if you could machine sew the seams so you wouldn't have to do so much weaving. Just a thought...I don't have a sewing machine so I probably don't know what I am talking about!
It looks great! Weaving in ends sucks. But free patterns is great :)
That's why I'm such a big fan of walking the yarns up the side :) I would never have used those colors together. Amazing, the more you knit on it the more I like this color combination, though. I was pretty skeptical at first, but it's turning out really great, not that anything you ever knit doesn't turn out great!
Thanks for sharing the Liberty link. Wow your sweater is looking so good !! Can I see a close up of the pattern stitch ??? Keep blogging I love reading it .
I agree, I was a bit skeptical of the color choices, but seeing them knit up, they are coming together beautifully. Great job Theresa!
I was just wondering this morning how Liberty was going! It's beautiful! And I want one, too, and there's the link! Thanks!
I must say, though, that I'm averse to working back and forth with all those ends. I'm thinking about working in the round and carrying some of them.
