Square Five

5 Log Cabin Squares
And then there were 5! This weekend saw the completion of my 5th Log Cabin square for the baby blanket. I am now officially over half way done with this project -- well, at least with the part that involves knitting the squares, and not really including the part that involves seaming and creating a border. That means I have at least 8 weeks to tackle the remaining 4 squares. For once, I am actually ahead of schedule on a knitting project....

Nice squares! You just took that picture in front of your rocker to make us all jealous again, though, didn't you?! Seriously, it's SO beautiful.
I love those squares. I can't wait to see them put together. I also love the picture with the rocking chair in it and the hardwood floors. Beautiful!
You should know better than to say "ahead of schedule" in front of the knitting. You'd best say a prayer to the Knitting Goddess right away.
The squares are really nice. I love the colors you chose. I have to say that, as nice as the squares are, the star of that picture is definitely the rocker. It's gorgeous!
Your Dad did a beautiful job with that gorgeous wood! It must be a joy to knit in that chair, as evidence shows on the floor. Nice squares.
Ahead of schedule is such a nice feeling. They look wonderful!
Simply lovely! And what a fun blanket that's going to be!
Wonderful! (And thanks for showing us your beautiful rocker again - I just love the lines from this angle.)
I like the looks of those squares with the rocking chair! I'm very curious about how you sew them together. I hate seaming and I've got about 40 psychedelic squares to seam up but I'm not very happy about mattress seaming them.
Squares are wonderful. The colors so unusual yet not obnoxious. ;) But I tell you, your dad's work just might be upstaging yours in that picture!
The blocks are great--- but the chair... you're killing me- Oh-- for a chair like that... I'll tell you... I'd give yarn! Or bake brownies... or somethng. You're Dad is pretty special!;)
