Children's Delight Quilt Pieces, Part 2
Strips of fabric + sewing machine = quilt block foundation. The strips on the left contain the focus fabric plus the side borders and the strips on the right are the top and bottom borders for the blocks. My sewing machine is patiently waiting for more cutting to occur so that we can proceed to the next step. So far, I think these fabrics go together extremely well! 
I adore the fabric and am excited to see how it turns out.

I really like the swirly fabric. I can really see where the pieces would line up, which is exciting for me.
Beautiful! I've been meaning to ask, since I have a little one on the way due in May - after Baby Z was born, did you have more or less time for crafts? I've been considering this in the context of knitting goals for this year. Once the baby is born, I'm not going to be working for at least 6 months (at least, that is the plan).
That's just spanky funky fabric. I profoundly enjoy the alternating smatterings of Motherhood and the variety of fiber activity.
