Foxhill Farm Cormo-Bombyx Silk Blend in Blues/Purples

This is 4 ounces of Foxhill Farm Cormo Wool (90%) and Bombyx Silk (10%) Blend. It's been hand dyed in blues and purples. 4 ounces is enough for a pair of socks, a light weight scarf, some very nice mittens or a lovely hat.

If you've never tried to spin with Cormo, this stuff is absolutely wonderful. Somewhat longer staple than merino, but just as soft and lofty. Foxhill Farm Cormos spend most of their lives under blankets, so their wool is clean and beautiful and there is next to no VM in any preparation I've spun. This is extraordinary fiber.

All my yarn is stored in a non-smoking home. I do have cats, however, and while they don't generally get to the yarn room, sometimes they do come in contact with it. All items up for sale are in good condition and have no known defects unless indicated.

I am a PayPal Verified Premier member. I can take payment in the form of direct PayPal transfers, credit card through PayPal, PayPal eChecks, personal checks drawn on a US bank, and money orders. If you are not in the United States, you must send me money through PayPal and all transations are in US dollars. If you want to send me a personal check it must clear before I will send you the yarn.

When I ship, I ship USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Buyer pays for postage in addition to cost of yarn (unless otherwise noted in the item description). If you live outside the US, I will ship USPS Global Priority. I am happy to add delivery confirmation or certification to international shipments but buyer pays for the additional services.
